A conversation between Nobuyuki Suzuki, star of the drama “Bantman,” and Doara has been realized! “Nobuyuki Suzuki learns from Doara-senpai.” to be distributed

■ “Nobuyuki Suzuki learns from Doara Senpai” will be distributed on Saturday Drama Official X and other platforms from September 24th.

The Tokai TV/Fuji TV Saturday drama “Buntman” (starting October 12th) is getting a lot of attention because Suzuki Nobuyuki plays a former professional baseball player. This time, a conversation between Suzuki Nobuyuki and Doara, the mascot character of the Chunichi Dragons, was held.

With the full cooperation of the Chunichi Dragons, the drama will unfold around a realistic professional baseball theme, including filming at the Vantelin Dome Nagoya. And speaking of the Chunichi Dragons, we cannot forget their mascot character, Doara. In 2024, he will be celebrating his 30th anniversary since joining the team, and he is so popular that he has become a legend in the mascot world, not only helping to liven up the team but also appearing on the covers of women’s magazines recently. Suzuki will play Yanagisawa Taito, the number 23, a home run hitter for the Chunichi Dragons. As a dragon warrior, he requests a conversation with his senior at the Dragons, Doara.

■ Will Suzuki Nobuyuki win Doara’s heart with Nagoya’s most popular sweets?
“Doara-senpai!” When Suzuki went to the designated spot at the Vantelin Dome Nagoya, he saw Doara enthusiastically watching the Dragons’ game. Doara bowed deeply to Suzuki, who greeted him. To please Doara-senpai, Suzuki prepared a sweet treat that is very popular as a Nagoya souvenir. Doara was very excited when Suzuki handed it to him, saying, “I heard you like it.” It seemed to be a good hook.

■Doara appeals to appear in “Bantman”!
The conversation began. Suzuki asked Doara a barrage of questions, such as “Who is your best friend?” and “How do you spend your days off?” Doara is of course good friends with Tsubakuro, who are on rival teams in the Central League, but they cooperate whenever they can and show off their well-coordinated acting as a duo. However, he also never forgets to make everyone smile by saying, “We’re business partners, though.” Then Suzuki’s first pitch was, “What do you think about the collaboration between Dora and the Chunichi Dragons?” Here, Suzuki shared his thoughts on his role as a former professional baseball player, and Doara pitched him, saying, “I haven’t received an offer yet.” Will Doara actually make his drama debut?

■The PR battle ends in an unexpected way…
Finally, a three-inning match was held, with PR for the drama and the Dragons at stake. In the first inning, “Blackbeard’s Crisis,” Doara was seen panicking at the unexpected result. The second inning was “Putter Golf.” Suzuki, whose best golf score is 75, went into the match saying he was “the most confident,” but this also ended in an unexpected way. And in the third inning, “Hand-push Sumo,” both players were unsuccessful.

The conversation between Doara and Suzuki was so relaxed that it was hard to believe it was their first meeting. Dragons fans will be especially interested to see Doara’s true side, which is different from the energetic image he shows on the field.

This conversation between Suzuki and Doara, titled “Suzuki Nobuyuki Learns from Doara Senpai,” will be uploaded sequentially from September 24th on the official Dodora X (formerly Twitter) and other platforms, so be sure to look forward to it.
