Yuki Kashiwagi to release her first make-up book! Yukirin shares techniques to overcome complexes

■ Yuki Kashiwagi presents “The Law of Finding Cuteness Through Makeup”

Kashiwagi Yuki’s first makeup book, “The Rules of Cuteness Through Makeup,” will be released by Takarajimasha on November 14th.

Kashiwagi’s makeup videos published on her YouTube channel “Yukirin World” (600,000 subscribers) are extremely popular. Her candid appearance, showing the entire process from bare face to full makeup, has been well-received, and the video posted in February 2022 has been viewed over 8.45 million times. From her idol days to the present, she has been doing her own makeup for live performances, television, and other media appearances.

Her makeup techniques, which she developed through extensive research in order to overcome her own complexes, are popular not only with her fans from her AKB48 days, but also with women who love makeup, and have been met with comments such as, “It’s amazing how she can make the makeup look so natural despite her elaborate work,” and “It’s so relatable that she doesn’t hide her rough skin, but instead shows us the process of how she makes it look beautiful with makeup.”
