■On September 28th, NHK will air “Venue101 Presents Documentary on Vaundy: Living with Manufacturing”, a documentary that followed Vaundy for a year and a half!
Vaundy released his new song “GORILLA Shibai” digitally on September 25th.
“GORILLA Shibai” was first performed at “Vaundy one man live “HEADSHOT” at Makuhari Messe” held on July 27th and 28th. The new music video, which combines live footage from the Makuhari one man live with studio footage in real time, is also a hot topic.
In addition, “Time Paradox,” the theme song for the movie “Doraemon: Nobita’s Earth Symphony,” which was released in January, has surpassed 200 million streaming plays (according to the record company).
Vaundy has had 16 songs that have exceeded 100 million plays so far, and this is his seventh song to surpass 200 million plays, following “Kaiju no Hanauta,” “Fukōryoku,” “napori,” “Odoriko,” “Hanauranai,” and “Tokyo Flash.”
The music video for “Odoriko” has been viewed over 100 million times on YouTube alone, and “Time Paradox” has been viewed over 40 million times, attracting extraordinary attention.
A documentary that followed Vaundy for a year and a half, “Venue101 Presents Documentary on Vaundy: Living with Creativity,” will be aired on NHK from 11pm on September 28th. The show will also include their TV debut performance.
Vaundy will be performing the theme song for the TBS drama “Lion’s Lair” which will begin airing on October 11th with his new song “Fujin”. He will also be embarking on an arena tour starting in November.
