Following the TV drama version, UVERworld will also be in charge of the theme song for the movie ACMA:GAME! A collaboration PV featuring the theme song “PHOENIX” has also been released.

UVERworld, who sang the theme song for “ACMA:GAME,” which aired on Nippon Television’s Sunday drama slot in April 2024, has been chosen to also perform the theme song for the film “ACMA:GAME The Last Key,” which will be released on October 25th.

The new song “PHOENIX” was written specifically for the theme song of the movie. It is the polar opposite of the ballad “MEMORIES of the End” that was inspired by the weakness, strength and love of humans depicted in the drama “ACMA:GAME”. It is a song that combines speed and intensity, and is created with the image of a phoenix that continues to fight as it races through the world, just as the title “PHOENIX” suggests. It is a song that makes you feel the image of the main character, Teru Oda (Shotaro Mamiya), and his friends as they take on numerous battles in the movie.

A promotional video featuring the theme song “PHOENIX” in collaboration with “ACMA:GAME The Last Key” has also been released.

Along with the theme song, the PV shows Terutomo and his friends taking on one brutal game after another, Kuroda Kouki (Kaneko Nobuaki) holding a sword beside Gad in the final battle “The Gladiator,” and Terutomo shedding tears.

■ Comment from UVERworld
The theme is a phoenix-like image that continues to fight across the world.
We are presenting this song in the hope that it will help convey Terutomo’s feelings of continuing to fight despite his wounds, and help make the ACMA:GAME movie a wonderful work that will resonate around the world.
