“Legendary Concert – Akina Nakamori” will be broadcast on NHK BS from 9pm on October 5th.

Since her debut in 1982, Akina Nakamori has captivated many people with her overwhelming singing ability and expressiveness, and has quickly become one of Japan’s leading singers. The footage from her “Yume ’91 Akina Nakamori Special Live” concert, which she held at the Makuhari Event Hall in July 1991, has been remastered to 4K quality and will be broadcast.

It was a rare opportunity to experience Akina, who was celebrating her 10th anniversary since her debut, performing live, and she captivated the audience with her singing as fans from all over the country cheered her on enthusiastically.

Along with a host of hit songs such as “DESIRE-Passion,” “Shipwreck,” “The Ten Commandments,” “Slow Motion,” and “Mi Amore,” the show also features stage-like production with costumes and stage layouts that visually express the image of the songs.
