Mrs. GREEN APPLE will release the theme song “Dear” for the movie “Dear Family” on May 20th. A content calendar that will be expanded daily in the lead-up to release has also been released.

From May 14th, cover art, MV teaser photos, and teaser movies will be released every day at 9pm. The music video will be premiered on YouTube at 9pm on May 20th.

“Dear Family” is based on the true story of a father who runs a small factory and takes on the challenge of developing an artificial heart for his daughter, who was born with a heart condition.

Yo Oizumi will star, Miho Kanno will play the wife who supports Nobumasa Tsuboi, played by Oizumi, Riko Fukumoto will play the daughter with heart disease, and Rina Kawaei and Miu Arai will play the sisters who support the family.

In this work, Hiroshi Oizumi and Motoki Omori (vocals, guitar) teamed up again for the first time since their special stage performance at the 74th NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen late last year, in the form of starring and singing the theme song.
