It has been decided to release a collection of works covering the early masterpieces of lyricist Noriko Miura, who established the origins of “idol Seiko Matsuda”.

Seiko Matsuda made her debut as an idol in 1980 and is still active as a top artist.

In addition to Seiko Matsuda’s debut song “Barefoot Season” 44 years ago and “Blue Coral Reef” which became a hot topic in the summer of 2024, her early songs include “Kaze wa Autumn Color”, “Cherry Blossom”, and “Natsu no Tobira”. “Seiko My Love-Yoshiko Miura Works-” is a collection of songs by Noriko Miura, a female lyricist who wrote the lyrics of many famous songs.
It has been announced that it will be released on November 6th.

The album includes a total of 30 songs for which Miura wrote the lyrics for Seiko Matsuda. In addition to the single A-side, it also includes popular songs from the album and single B-side, such as “SQUALL,” “Eighteen,” and “Only My Love.”

The accompanying booklet includes liner notes with a special contribution by Seiko Matsuda and anecdotes about lyric writing by Noriko Miura. This is also worth checking out.

The release date of this work, November 6th, is the anniversary of Miura’s death, who passed away one year ago in 2023. Be sure to enjoy the works of lyricist Noriko Miura, who can be said to have laid the foundation for the idol Seiko Matsuda, who has a fresh and vibrant singing voice.
