■Episode 7 story
Realizing that Osaki is a better match for Aika than him, Shibuya-kun decides to distance himself from Aika, thinking that he doesn’t have to be her partner as long as his teacher can smile. Meanwhile, he ends up staying in Kyoto for a while for work in order to seize opportunities as an actor. Aika is told by Kanda (Shuichiro Naito) that she won’t be able to see Shibuya-kun for a while, and at that moment, she realizes her feelings for Shibuya-kun and follows him, but she can’t make it in time.
Shibuya-kun arrives in Kyoto and participates in a workshop with a world-famous director (Chance Oshiro), but every time he says the lines he’s been given, all he can think of is Aika. She is unable to concentrate on her performance, and her partner, Chinatsu Mizusawa (Shiori Tamai), sees through her feelings. Then, Kanda, who sees his former self in her junior, begins to talk about why he tried to stop Shibuya-kun from falling in love with her.
At that time, Aika also feels uneasy about the days without Shibuya-kun. Worried about her, Osaki tries to cheer her up, but she gradually becomes unable to suppress the feelings she had hidden within her heart and says to her, “I wonder if we can go back to what we were like back then.” ” he started.
■Shiori Tamai comment
Q. What is the role of Chinatsu Mizusawa?
Tamai:This character is original to the drama and is not in the original work, and is played by an actress who has been cast as the lead in the movie that Shibuya-kun and Kanda-san are auditioning for. She has a stoic side when it comes to acting, and on the other hand, she’s the type who doesn’t have much interest in anything else. She speaks clearly and has a refreshing personality, and she is a strong-willed woman who is completely focused on what she likes.Q. Is there anything you are conscious of when acting?
Tamai:I tend to let my emotions show on my face, but on set, the director instructed me to speak matter-of-factly without changing my facial expressions, even if it’s just a casual comment. Even though it’s a play, I can’t help but notice my own quirks in the way I speak, and my face moves a little when I speak, so I tried to eliminate those quirks for the time being. I am conscious of subtracting further from the impression I got when I first read the script.Q. What are the points you would like us to pay particular attention to?
Tamai:Since this character is not in the original work, I don’t think even those who have read the original work can imagine what kind of influence a woman named Chinatsu Mizusawa will have on this story. There are also scenes that make the relationship between Shibuya-kun and Aika-sensei a little confusing, and I think that’s the key point. I think this will be the trigger for Shibuya-kun’s emotions to start moving again, so please keep an eye on it!Q. How was the shooting scene?
Tamai:Kyomoto-san and Naito-san got along very well, and I had the impression that the two of them brightened up the scene. Since I usually work in a group, I tend to be shy when it comes to individual activities, and I was a little nervous to join an already established team midway through, especially as I only joined from episode 7. However, the two of them talked to me a lot from the first day, and I was grateful that the director and staff were really cheerful, and that it was a wonderful set that didn’t bother the performers who joined in the middle of the project. .Q. What are the highlights of episode 7 and please give a message to the viewers?
Tamai:As for the story, I think one of the highlights is the scene where Mr. Kanda goes back in time and reveals the reason why he is so against Shibuya-kun’s love. Also, as a regular viewer, I enjoy the frustrating but very naive interactions between Shibuya-kun and Aika-sensei, but in episode 7, the two of them were a little unsure of each other, and I joined in. Then, an incident happens. I think the story will advance greatly as a result of this, so I hope everyone is looking forward to it.
