The latest work of Book Off’s CM “Part-time job Ano-chan” series, “Gorogoro Man”, starring Ano, will be released online on October 8th. An interview where Ano talks about the commercial was also released.

The “Gorogoro Man” edition is the 5th installment of the “Part-Time Worker” series. The story depicts a surreal world in which a man who is unable to organize the many books, games, and toys he has at home stumbles around until he arrives at a Book Off store, where a senior store employee looks at him with a unique expression.

In an interview about the making of this commercial, Ano commented honestly, saying, “I didn’t do anything, just stood there, so I burned very few calories during the commercial shoot.” In the commercial, pay attention to Ano’s low-calorie performance.

Q1. (In the commercial, there was a scene where a man was unable to organize his books, games, toys, etc.) Please tell us something that he wants to organize but can’t seem to organize.
Um: Basically, I can’t do anything, so my clothes are scattered all over the house. I can’t break the habit of leaving washed items in the closet. Only human relationships have been sorted out. I’m really alone now…hehe.
Q2. (In the commercial, there was a scene where a man laments that the process of listing items for sale is a hassle.) What do you think that person finds troublesome and would like to do more easily?
Um: I find it troublesome to have conversations with people. I don’t think it’s okay to say this, but I don’t want to talk. I didn’t want to talk, I thought that kind of thing was a hassle…AI has developed so much, I want to enjoy my future life with things like that.
Q3. Please tell us what other things you own besides clothes.
I have a lot of stuffed animals. I often perform in rural areas, and when I go to rural areas, I end up with stuffed animals at home that I never need later on, or wonder why I bought them. Also, stickers. I also love stickers and collect a lot of them. Anyway, everything is cute! When I find something cute, I buy it. I tend to buy things on impulse. I buy a lot of things that look like mascots and keychains.
