■Mone Kamishiraishi requested Yoshiki Mizuno to write a song that would respond to “Yakuchi wo Kuchizusametara”, and the new song was created “Madashii”.
Mone Kamishiraishi’s new album “kibi” (released on November 6th) will include the song “Madashii” provided by Yoshiki Mizuno of Ikimonogakari.
Kamishiraishi and Ikimonogakari’s Yoshiki Mizuno have professed to be big fans and have deepened their relationship by making guest appearances at live shows. This is the second time Mizuno has teamed up with Kamishiraishi, after the song “Yawake wo Kuchizamutara”, which he sang when he first participated in “NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen”.
“Madashi” was created at Kamishiraishi’s request to create a song that echoes “Yakuchi wo Kuchizamutara”. This work is a reversal of the “hope seen in solitude” that was expressed in the previous work, and by daring to find the “shadow lurking in the bright moments of everyday life,” and singing about it, he lives a life that embraces two sides of the same coin. The power of this song is expressed as a pop song.
The first press of the new album “kibi” includes a “serial number that allows you to apply for an invitation to watch a rehearsal” and “a serial number that allows you to apply in advance to purchase tickets for a performance in 2025.” In addition, postcard designs for supporting stores were also released.
