“SUMMER SONIC 2024” 5th artist announced!RIIZE has been confirmed as an artist to perform at both Tokyo and Osaka venues.

■Adieu (Moka Kamishiraishi), Bruen, STUTS, Miina Okabe, Nebayan, PUNPEE, CVLTE and more have been announced!

The fifth artist for the summer festival “SUMMER SONIC 2024” to be held at two venues in Tokyo and Osaka has been announced.

The 7-member boy group RIIZE has been newly confirmed as the artist to perform on August 17th in Tokyo and 18th in Osaka. Despite debuting in 2023, the group is already attracting a lot of attention due to the members’ sophisticated visuals and popular songs and performances.

Also, on August 17th in Tokyo, rapper PUNPEE, who made a sudden appearance at 2023’s “SONICMANIA” and “SUMMIT All Stars” on the first day of “SUMMER SONIC” and made the venue excited, will appear. In addition, there is Tempalay, a three-person band whose unique world view and musicality that makes you feel creativity are gaining popularity, FIJI BLUE, an electro duo with a precise chill sound made by two members who graduated from the prestigious Berklee College of Music, and Copenhagen’s Bed. Miina Okabe, a singer-songwriter whose dreamy pop songs are written from the room, and LANA, a female artist who has gained support from Generation Z with her lyrics that describe the reality of being a teenager, are known for having a “voice that stops time.” Moka Shiraishi’s creative project adieu will feature the appearance of Ayumu Imazu, an artist who handles everything from songwriting to dance choreography and is gaining attention for her high-quality songs (*All performances will be held at the Tokyo venue only).

Additional performers on August 18th in Tokyo are BLUE ENCOUNT, a rock band with a reputation for their straight-talking words, musicality, and passionate live performances; STUTS, a track maker whose ability is proven through collaborations with numerous artists; and a somewhat nostalgic feeling. Never Young Beach, a band with a rare sound that makes you feel the atmosphere, is an up-and-coming new generation that has attracted attention from all over the world with their completely new sound, and has announced a contract with an overseas label.Paledusk is a rock band with a dark worldview and genre-less music. 5 groups from CVLTE, a new generation alternative band with unique songs.

Also, due to various circumstances, Dai Hirai’s appearance date has been changed to August 17th in Tokyo and August 18th in Osaka.

■“Summer Sonic morning numbered ticket” will be released!
In order to alleviate morning waiting lines, “Summer Sonic morning numbered tickets” with a serial number will be on sale from around July, allowing you to enter the stage area at the opening time (*Tokyo only, separate admission ticket required. Limited number of tickets available). Currently, 2-DAY tickets, 1-DAY tickets for each day, and Platinum tickets are being accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
