MISAMO, a unit consisting of TWICE’s Japanese members Mina, SANA, and MOMO, has released the music video for the sub-lead song “NEW LOOK” from JAPAN 2nd MINI ALBUM “HAUTE COUTURE” (released on November 6th). .
“NEW LOOK” is a cover of Namie Amuro’s song released in 2008. The members commented, “We are very honored to be able to cover our favorite song by Namie Amuro, who we have been a big fan of since childhood.”
The concept behind the released music video is that “the present MISAMO, inspired by his past aspirations, reinterprets and performs the stages he admired.” It also describes the process by which MISAMO came to cover “NEW LOOK” and expresses his respect for Namie Amuro.
Although the times and backgrounds are different, the story of admiring someone and working hard is sure to inspire many people who have had the same experience.
MISAMO will hold its first dome tour “MISAMO JAPAN DOME TOUR 2024 “HAUTE COUTURE”” in November. This is also worth checking out.
