“DUNK Showcase in KYOCERA DOME OSAKA” will be distributed worldwide on HYBE’s app Weverse

“DUNK-DANCE UNIVERSE NEVER KILLED-” is a large-scale project launched in 2022 by SKY-HI, the representative of BMSG and the producer of BE:FIRST, in collaboration with Nippon Television. It has been decided that the second chapter of “DUNK Showcase” will be distributed on Weverse from May 4th. This will be Weverse’s first attempt to broadcast a Japanese music festival (live event) globally.

SKY-HI’s goal is to “transmit the dance and vocal scene from Japan to the world, transcending boundaries.” The second chapter “DUNK Showcase in KYOCERA DOME OSAKA” held at Kyocera Dome Osaka on December 2nd and 3rd, 2023 included SKY-HI, ATEEZ, FANTASTICS, BE:FIRST, Travis Japan, &TEAM , LIL LEAGUE, MAZZEL, IMP., THE JET BOY BANGERZ, RIEHATA, and Nissy who participated as a special collaboration artist, 12 artists from different agencies, labels, countries and regions participated.

Weverse is an app from HYBE, which includes BTS and New Jeans. It is used in 245 countries/regions. It has been downloaded over 100 million times in total, and is popular as a global super fan platform that supports communication between various artists and fans around the world.

A global distribution that embodies SKY-HI’s aspiration of “There is no need for barriers or discrimination in the dance and vocal scene/Let’s make this a turning point in the history of dance and vocals.” Let’s enjoy streaming together with other fans, regardless of country or region.
