Just decide where to travel, then drive around and eat delicious food! “Meshidora Kanechika & Shinnosuke’s Gourmet Drive” (Nippon Television) is broadcast every Saturday from 11:55 am. On the October 12th broadcast, Daiki Kanechika (EXIT) and Shinnosuke Mitsushima will travel to Hachioji with guest Kohei Matsushita.
Kohei Matsushita was waiting for Minamiosawa Hachiman Shrine, which has a beautiful red torii gate. When Matsushita turned around, Mitsushima hugged him with all his might. The first thing we talked about when we got into the Meshidra car was Matsushita’s school days. In high school, Matsushita did street dance while attending an art department. The first shop of the day was the cafe “SEAFOOD MARKET” located in the “Hachioji General Wholesale Center”. The distance between Matsushita and Mitsushima/Kanechika is quickly reduced by the deliciousness of the dishes made with fresh seafood from the attached fish shop. Moreover, when they found out that all three of them were left-handed, they completely hit it off. Matsushita, who ate the doria, was very satisfied and said, “It was five times hotter than I expected,” but “It was the best doria I’ve ever eaten!”
On the way to the next store, we were chatting casually about things like “What do people from Hachioji say when they go to the center of Tokyo?” and the unexpected connection between Matsushita and KICK THE CAN CREW’s LITTLE, when we arrived. The place I went to was “Chinese soba specialty store Ebisumaru”. It seems that Matsushita once loved this ramen shop so much that he was refused a part-time job there. As the three of them ate Chinese noodles with a vaguely nostalgic taste in a restaurant with a vaguely nostalgic atmosphere, they were immersed in a somewhat nostalgic feeling, as if they had spent their youth together here.
Next we came to the cafe “LinNA HEALTHY LIFESTYLE” which has a yoga studio on the second floor. After ordering a total of six dishes, including smoothies that seemed to be good for the body, the three of them came to the terrace and discovered table soccer. Therefore, the game to decide who will pay for this day’s trip was decided to be “Mesidora Cup”. The match, which was more exciting than expected, headed into a fateful stoppage time. Matsushita says, “That was great, I might have laughed the most this year!” Who was the one who lost the game and paid for the day?
Finally, we headed to TOKYO FARM VILLEGE, where Matsushita himself obtained permission to take photos, saying, “If I could just see a cow’s face…” I was very satisfied with seeing the cow’s face and ended the meal.
