SKY-HI collaborates with Czech national pop artist MIKOLAS. “LALALALALALALALALALA (Tokyo Version)” will be digitally released on October 25th.
Mikolas is a 29-year-old singer, songwriter, and producer born in Prague, Czech Republic. He is currently the most streamed artist in the Czech Republic and Slovakia and was included in Forbes’ 30 Under 30 People Who Are Changing the World.
Their hit single “Delilah” has broken into the top 20 on charts in over 20 countries and holds several global records, and in 2018, they participated in the “Eurovision Song Contest” and came in 6th place. Also plays a role.
In 2022, two and a half years after its release, “LALALALALALALALALA” was released in 2020, and the Japanese translation video posted on YouTube by general Japanese listeners attracted attention and ranked 13th on Spotify Japan’s Viral chart. The YouTube video has been viewed approximately 4.7 million times from Japan (as of October 2024).

After the song became a hit in Japan, Mikolas decided to create a new version of the song with Japanese in it and titled it “LALALALALALALALALA (Tokyo Version)” in honor of his Japanese fans. They then asked SKY-HI, with whom they had a close friendship after co-starring on a radio program, to write the Japanese lyrics and sing the rap part, and this collaboration was realized.
“LALALALALALALALALA (okyo Version)” has been selected as an interfm power play “Hotpicks” and can be heard on interfm from October 16th.
