■Ren Nagase, Ryuta Bando, and Kentaro Maeda perform live dubbing! “I think we were able to show off 100 things.” (Ren Nagase)
King & Prince Ren Nagase, Ryota Bando, and Kentaro Maeda are the voice actors for the feature-length animated film “Fureru.” ” was held at TOHO Cinemas Shinjuku on October 15th.
Director Ryuyuki Nagai and the three main cast members appeared on stage to a packed venue. Warm applause and loud cheers echoed through the venue, which was still filled with excitement after watching the movie.
After Director Nagai’s greeting, “Thank you for your continued support today,” Nagase said, “Thank you for visiting us today.Although it’s only a short time, we look forward to your continued support.”“Let’s have fun today! Maeda thanked and greeted the audience gathered at the venue, saying, “I’m very happy to have the opportunity to meet you all again now that ‘Fureru.’ has started.”
Since its release on October 4th, this film has been hailed as “the most moving movie of the fall”. Regarding the reaction from people close to her, Nagase said, “I received a lot of calls from friends.I also heard that the staff (make-up stylists) who work with me on set and on a regular basis all went to see the movie. They said it was fun! I’ve received so many compliments,” he said, expressing his happiness at reaching the hearts of so many people.
Next, a flip talk was held to “touch” the bonds between the three main cast members. Director Nagai will ask three people questions regarding this work.
The first theme is “Speaking of the autumn of 〇〇 to the main character of this work, Onoda Aki!” Nagase answered “Autumn of grilled meat,” Bando answered “Autumn of exercise,” and Maeda answered “Autumn of presents.” Nagase said, “After the stage greeting, we all went to yakiniku once,” revealing an episode that gives a glimpse of the close relationships among the production team.
Bando chose the autumn of exercise because of the episode in which he reached 104 kg (104 km, October 4, after the release date of this work) as he had declared, when he appeared on the Seibu Lions’ ceremonial pitch to promote this work. Since Maeda’s own birthday is in September, she answered “Autumn” because she often receives gifts.
The second question was, “What is your most memorable experience during the promotional period so far?” Nagase answered, “Sloth,” Bando answered, “In the ‘touch’ nose…”, and Maeda answered, “Dubbing on the first day.” Bando cited an incident that happened during a live broadcast in Takadanobaba, the setting of this work, and said, “(Nagase) stuck Fureru’s head into the oil part of the shaved ice machine, and the culprit was later discovered (lol) ),” he said, talking about his memories from the live broadcast, which was a hot topic among fans of the film and the audience attending the event.
The final question was, “Draw a picture of your favorite “touch” scene.” Maeda drew a scene of a bucket of “Fure” and three young children walking together, and the cute drawing of “Fure” drew applause from the audience. Bando drew the second half of the story, “Fureru,” and the scene in which Aki and Ryo enter a fantasy world, and both the presenters and the audience were surprised by his skill at drawing.
At the end, Nagase confidently said, “I was able to draw really well today,” and showed a scene in which “Fureru”, Nanami, Juri, and other five people were playing in the Takadanobaba playground at night. Laughter erupted from the audience at the quality of Nagase’s art, and he explained that he had chosen this scene out of his love for the work, saying, “It’s a scene with the entire cast!!” Looking at the pictures of the three, Director Nagai commented, “They have great individuality. I’ll display them in my house,” confirming the bond (!?) between the three, who have worked together on various promotional activities since recording.
In addition, a
As the three of them got ready, the atmosphere at the venue completely changed to a tense atmosphere, like a dubbing studio. Since they were the only three selected through an audition, they performed a live recording just like the real thing, and received a huge round of applause from the audience.
Director Nagai, who watched the live dubbing of the three in front of a packed audience, commented, “It was amazing. It really reminded me of the time when we were dubbing.” Nagase said, “The part where we laughed together at the end was the most nerve-wracking part. After all, it was refreshing to do the dubbing in front of the people who watched it.But everyone did it without chewing at all, so I think we were able to show off 100 points. I don’t think so,” he said.
Bando said, “Can we reshoot one spot? My voice didn’t come out smoothly…” and Director Nagai commented, “It was much better than the actual performance,” even he was surprised. Maeda said, “I was extremely nervous and wondered if Yuta would come down, but he did come down (lol).” All three of them showed relief after completing their first attempt at live dubbing. , Coach Nagai once again praised the team, saying, “I think the three people we chose were correct.”
Finally, speaking on behalf of the speakers, director Nagai said, “I am very happy to have been blessed with such a wonderful cast and staff. It’s been less than two weeks since its release, and I hope that the circle of “Fure.” will spread even further. , everyone, thank you for your support.”
Speaking on behalf of the cast, Nagase said, “Thanks to so many people, we have been able to safely deliver this work to everyone. Many people have been touched by this work, and we too can feel their excitement.” I received it, but I hope it reaches more people in Japan.I hope that you will continue to share this work with your loved ones and share the excitement with it.” The stage greeting concluded with a message filled with love for this work.
