The choreography this time was for a dance scene in a show, so at first I thought it would be a gorgeous choreography. In addition to that, when I thought about the overall story, I wanted to add a little bit of surreality to it. I put a lot of thought into the balance between glamor and surreality, Shibuya’s silhouette, and the way the dance stands out.
As the dancers were performing detailed choreography, I was worried about how to link them with Mr. Shibuya, but Mr. Shibuya practiced thoroughly beforehand, and on the day of the dance he also made changes and made requests from me. They responded warmly and perfectly, and I was given a lot of courage to shoot the dance scene.
