A new series of 4 web videos for Suntory’s corporate advertisement “#Let’s become a wonderful past” starring Goro Inagaki, Tsuyoshi Kusanagi (“Nagi” is officially spelled as front + sword in front of a bow), and Shingo Katori will be released. It will be released sequentially on Suntory’s official SNS including Suntory’s official YouTube channel from October 17th to October 20th.

On October 17th, the first day of the program, we will be holding the event “#Wonderful Past” which will tell you that whether or not a plastic bottle can be reborn as a new one depends on whether you sort it properly outside, such as in a recycling box. “Let’s become that box’s name” edition has been released.

Starting with this video, videos will be released for three consecutive days, and on October 20th, “Recycling Day,” a dance video of three people performing an original dance with the theme of “sorting plastic bottles” will be released. It will be made public and people will be encouraged to separate their waste properly outside.

Additionally, in conjunction with the release of this video, a giveaway campaign is being held starting October 16th where 1,000 people will be randomly selected to win a Suntory Original PET Bottle Cover with a bird illustration drawn by Katori. PET bottle covers encourage the first action to cleanly separate PET bottles: “drink up.”

■About the new web video released on October 17th and dance video released on the 20thIn the new web video, in front of the recycling box (dedicated collection box for empty beverage containers) next to the vending machine, there is a route sales person who patrols the vending machine locations, replenishes products, cleans the machine, and removes the recycling box. Inagaki, Kusanagi, and Katori appear wearing the uniforms of professionals who perform tasks such as collecting empty containers. Through the story, Kusanagi explains to Inagaki and Katori that the recycling box is not a trash can, but an important box for collecting resources, and explains that changing the name will change the way people think about it. , promoting the idea that plastic bottles can become a resource.

In addition, in the dance video, three people wearing “R” headgear appear and perform a breath-taking original dance with the theme of “sorting plastic bottles.” The “R” worn by the three people includes “R”, which stands for “recycle”, and there are many people at the end of the recycling box, including those who collect the bottles and those who separate the collected plastic bottles. In this video, the three people are dressed as route sales people who go around vending machine locations and replenish products. This was Kusanagi’s second time following last year, and Inagaki and Katori’s first time playing route sales roles, so this was the first time they were photographed in matching uniforms. The actual performance, which was recorded over a long period of time, had a well-matched exchange from the first take, and the scene proceeded smoothly from then on. No one had any objections until the last three shots, where they were asked to look at the camera, and the shooting was over in the blink of an eye.

◇Inagaki and Kusanagi follow Katori who rejected
For the dance video shoot, the three of them wore route sales uniforms and headgear in the shape of an “R”. Katori in the front row, Inagaki and Kusanagi in the back row formed an inverted triangle shape and danced to the music. In the collaboration project, “Recycling” will be the monthly theme for October, and the “SCHOOL OF LOCK! Recycling Club” will be launched. Q: Please tell us your impressions of the shoot.

Inagaki:That’s wonderful.
Katori:Why Shakespeare?
Kusanagi:I was just reading the script for the play. Also, I like Chaplin. “Life is a tragedy when viewed up close, but a comedy when viewed from a distance.” This is a famous quote from the King of Comedy Chaplin. And then there’s Kinichi Hagimoto. “Tsuyo-chan, you can go home now.”
Inagaki:What does that mean?
Katori:These are the words that Kin-chan said to me when I was invited to the program when I was young.
Kusanagi:Because of those words, I am now destined to be with you, so these are Kin-chan’s famous words. At that time, if I had said, “I’m not going back,” I would have become a member of CHA-CHA, and my life would have been different.

Q: In reference to the video calling for a change in consciousness by calling it a “recycle box” instead of a “trash can,” have you recently changed your perspective or made any new discoveries that have changed your mindset?
Kusanagi:When the worst thing happens, it’s a crisis, but I’ve come to think of a crisis as an opportunity.
Katori:Are those Chaplin’s words?
Kusanagi:I’m not Chaplin, but in order to create any kind of emotion, you need to fail, and because you’ve failed, when you succeed, you go, “Wow!” Even when it comes to the guitar, when you go from thinking, “Tsuyo-chan, you can’t play it,” to being able to play and sing, that’s when you’re really moved. That’s why I believe that flaws and things you’re not good at are actually things that can bring about success and excitement if you look at them from the other side.
Inagaki:It’s okay to fail a little.
Kusanagi:oh yeah. This means that there is room for growth.
Katori:When I make hot pot, I’m addicted to making beautiful rice porridge. However, I recently discovered that beef tends to be a bit sticky, making it difficult to make a beautiful rice porridge.

Q: In this video, you say that whether or not a plastic bottle becomes a plastic bottle again is a “crossing of fate” that is determined by whether or not you separate it properly at home and outside. Please tell me about the moment when you realized that it was a “crossing of fate”.
Inagaki:However, entering this world was a major fork in the road, wasn’t it?
Katori:What would have happened if it hadn’t been included?
Inagaki:I wonder what he was doing. I can’t imagine it.
Katori:Was Goro Inagaki the person everyone imagined him to be?
Inagaki:I don’t think it has. I feel like my style and characters were probably created in this world. So I guess he became like my father.
Kusanagi:It sounds like you’re doing some kind of art or something artistic. I like aesthetic sense, so I admire beautiful things, such as plants. I also have an image of a flower shop.
Katori:If I hadn’t entered this world, I wonder if I wouldn’t drink wine?
Inagaki:I also fell in love with wine after playing the role of a sommelier in a drama a long time ago. That’s why I went to Chateau Lagrange in France, which is owned by Suntory, and my role in the drama may have had a big influence on me.
