It has been revealed that MAZZEL will appear on the front and back covers of the December issue of JUNON (to be released on October 22nd).

The December issue of “JUNON” will be published in two formats with different cover designs and supplements. The regular edition, which features all the people appearing in the December issue on the cover, comes with a cardboard pin-up with photos of Hironaga Tsuna and Yuto Tadabi printed on both sides. The extra edition, with MAZZEL on the front and back covers, includes pin-ups packed with the charms of the eight people.

MAZZEL has entered its second year after making a spectacular debut with the single “Vivid” in May 2023. Following a one-man tour of 9 performances in 8 cities, and a successful first arena performance, the group, whose popularity is rapidly increasing, returns to “JUNON”. You can’t take your eyes off these eight people with their colorful personalities.

Highlights of the new song and memories of the Izu training camp
Q. Your new song “MAZQUERADE” has a very fresh taste.
HAYATO: It was created with the idea of “MAZZEL transforming”, and we acted it out and changed our voices. I’d like people to pay attention to the different side of the members and listen to it.
RAN: The heavy sound and singing style were conscious of danger and eeriness, making it a memorable song.
KAIRYU: Many songs get excited with the chorus, but the eerie part of this song comes out the most in the chorus, so many people will think, “This is a style I’ve never heard before.”
TAKUTO：The dancing is also done in a way that I have never seen in a boy group. There is a movement that makes you wonder, “I wonder what this movement is,” and the mystery of it is the highlight.
Q. The song “Our Life Is Always Rihgt” was produced during a training camp with SKY-HI in Izu.
NAOYA: It was my first time sleeping with the president (SKY-HI), and I was happy to be able to play games and talk with him until late at night, and I started to like him even more.
EIKI：The theme of this song was “MZ-ism,” and the aim was to pursue MAZZEL’s “ism” at the training camp, but the answer we came up with was “just have fun.” The training camp embodies this, and the song itself has become one of my favorite pieces filled with memories.
SEITO: Not only was it fun, but it was also great to be able to share difficult things like training with the president and work hard.
RYUKI：At the barbecue, the president grilled the meat for us. Even when we say, “We’ll do it,” they refuse, saying, “No, we want to do it.” I thought what a warm company it was, and I was soaked in the bath afterwards (lol). I was able to communicate a lot with the staff, and I think it created an environment where I could create even better work.

With a love call from INI Takatsuka Daimu (“Taka” is officially spelled “Hadashidaka”), the long-awaited two-shot with WILD BLUE’s Yukiteru Yamashita came true. “Actually, this is the first time I’ve spoken properly,” so pay attention to the “kokirom” that is full of dignity.

Takatsuka:Can I ask you about your hobbies?
Yamashita：I love clothes, and I often wear second-hand clothes.
Takatsuka：I saw on Instagram that you have a lot of clothes.
Yamashita：But I don’t go shopping that much.
Takatsuka:Where do you buy it?
Yamashita：There’s a store I go to often, and I always buy things there at once, so I don’t go to many stores.

A materialistic monster who loves shopping and gets power from the things he buys!?
I love shopping! I’m already buying it! You are a materialistic monster! (Laughs) That’s why things keep increasing, and I have so many jeans that I end up buying them again, even though I think they’re good enough. My mantra is not to buy from today, not to buy this month, and not to buy again this year, but I will buy again soon (lol). Gabeen can get depressed if she buys too much or buys the same thing, but when she’s buying something, her brain must be pumping with adrenaline or something. I just bought a vintage one the other day, so I wonder if I should buy it again? Tokasa (lol). Even so, I felt like it was no big deal if I bought it (lol). However, shopping can give you energy and motivation, such as working hard today or tomorrow, or working hard to buy something, so I think it would be great if you could use it in a positive way. Also, I feel like vintage items have a shine and aura that gives them power. So I don’t think there’s any harm in buying it, but I think it’s okay as long as it makes you feel better.

Q. On your sleeping face, on your bookshelf, in your bag. What do you least want to be seen?
Kiritani: Eh, I wonder…
Kageyama：My face is overwhelmingly sleepy! It makes you look unbelievably ugly.
Kiritani: How do you know?
Kageyama: That’s what I’m told. I have four siblings, and both my older brother and sister are sleeping. …That means I’m probably the same way (lol). Recently, I have started putting tape over my mouth before going to sleep because my mouth opens wide.
Kiritani: What kind of faces do you and your brother look like when you sleep? I’m curious.
Kageyama: He was snoring with his mouth open and was even drooling…like that. I wonder if that’s the case with me too…
Kiritani: I’m sleeping well! That’s the way I sleep (lol).
Kageyama:Which one is Kiritani-san?
Kiritani:If I do any of these three, I’ll probably be asleep too! The only unusual thing I have in my bag is the supplements, and I don’t really have anything major in it.
