DREAMS COME TRUE's first stage costume book to be released

DREAMS COME TRUE’s first stage costume book, “DREAMS COME TRUE COSTUME BOOK – The path of stage costumes followed by DREAMS COME TRUE and KEITAMARUYAMA” will be released on November 29th.

Dreams Come True’s first stage costume book commemorates the 35th anniversary of DREAMS COME TRUE’s debut in 2024 and the 30th anniversary of designer Keita Maruyama, who has been working on many of DREAMS COME TRUE’s costumes since 1991. A look back at the costumes from the large-scale concert “DREAMS COME TRUE WONDERLAND”, which is said to be Japan’s top entertainment and has been held once every four years since 1991. A special edition of the magazine “GINZA” that lets you enjoy the legendary stages from a fashion perspective.

We also focus on details such as the elaborate embroidery, which is said to be the true essence of KEITAMARUYAMA, and the actual fabrics and sequins used. Contains costumes from all 9 tours, along with over 70 design drawings and production secrets.

In addition, new photos and interviews with Miwa Yoshida, Masato Nakamura, and Keita Maruyama have been realized. The behind-the-scenes stories that have been revealed over the course of over 30 years of creating together. An archive of Kouhaku Uta Gassen costumes photographed at the memorial museum “DCTgarden IKEDA” in Miwa Yoshida’s hometown, Ikeda-cho, Hokkaido, and a collection of KEITAMARUYAMA’s private clothes that she uses in her private life are on display as “MIWA’s private clothes.”

There is also a handwritten message from Ai Yazawa, a manga artist who has been a Dream Comedy fan since the early stages of her debut and who drew scenes related to stage costumes in her works. A little different from a live photo book, this book is like a fashion magazine that summarizes the history of DREAMS COME TRUE and KEITAMARUYAMA.
