SKY-HI and Czech national pop artist become anime characters! “LALALALALALALALALALA (Tokyo Version)” MV released

SKY-HI will digitally release the collaboration song “LALALALALALALALALA (Tokyo Version)” with Czech’s most streamed national pop artist MIKOLA on October 25th. A music video featuring SKY-HI and MIKOLAS as anime characters will also be released on the same day at 8pm.

Mikolas is a 29-year-old singer, songwriter, and producer born in Prague, Czech Republic. He is currently the most streamed artist in the Czech Republic and Slovakia and was included in Forbes’ 30 Under 30 People Who Are Changing the World.

In 2022, two and a half years after its release, “LALALALALALALALALA” was released in 2020, and the Japanese translation video posted on YouTube by general Japanese listeners attracted attention and ranked 13th on Spotify Japan’s Viral chart.

“LALALALALALALALALA (Tokyo Version)”, which will be released with SKY-HI, is a song with Japanese rap written by SKY-HI that matches the worldview of the original song.

In July, SKY-HI co-wrote and recorded at a studio in Japan over three days, and his thoughts on the experience were, “I was worried about whether I was able to interpret the original song correctly, but after actually meeting Mikolas, When I saw it, I felt that the vibe suited me. It felt like I was playing a game, and I had fun collaborating with it.”

Mikolas said, “I was surprised at how quickly SKY-HI wrote the lyrics. Thanks to SKY-HI, I can say with confidence that we were able to create something better than the original song. I hope everyone in Japan will listen to it again. I think so.”
