Laufey, a Chinese-Icelandic composer/singer/lyricist/producer/multi-instrumentalist based in LA, appeared for the first time on the 487th episode of the YouTube channel “THE FIRST TAKE” (*10 (Premiered on the 28th of May at 10pm).
She performed “From The Start,” a song from “Bewitched,” which won the “Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album Award” at the 66th Grammy Awards, and which can be said to be her signature song.
This song, whose life-sized lyrics have resonated with people, was shown for the first time in Japanese media with its soft piano tone and deep, warm singing voice.
