■K Arena Yokohama performance, the final stop of TM NETWORK’s latest arena tour, will be exclusively broadcast and distributed on WOWOW!
TM NETWORK celebrated its 40th anniversary on April 21st. WOWOW will feature them for 11 months from June 2024 to April 2025 as a large anniversary project.
In addition to exclusive broadcasts and distribution of the latest live shows, we will deliver a number of special programs every month, including a collection of talks by the three members Tetsuya Komuro, Takashi Utsunomiya, and Naoto Kine, and valuable live footage from the past.
The first part is “Prologue”. Together with three members of TM NETWORK, we will give an overview of the upcoming large-scale special feature. We asked them about their thoughts on the Kanagawa/K Arena Yokohama performance of “TM NETWORK 40th FANKS intelligence Days ~YONMARU~”, which will be broadcast and distributed exclusively on WOWOW in July, after the anniversary live, as well as information about special programs that will be broadcast and distributed in the future. We will clarify the contents.
In July, “TM NETWORK 40th FANKS intelligence Days ~YONMARU~ at K-Arena Yokohama” will be broadcast. Their fans and their music genre, which has created a huge hole in the flow of music with advanced compositions based on synth sounds and making full use of 16 beats and modulation, are called FANKS. In July 2022, the band’s first tour in seven years, “FANKS intelligence Days,” will begin with FANKS in the title. The first day’s performance was marked with the number “Day 1″, and since then it has been counted up as Day 2 and Day 3. From 2023, the title will evolve to “40th FANKS intelligence Days”, with the 40th anniversary in mind, and in 2024, the words “YONMARU” will be added, and allies Kenji Kitajima on guitar and Kaoru Abe on drums will be brought together. Then, at the tour final on May 18th and 19th at K Arena Yokohama in Kanagawa, the numbers for Day 39 and Day 40, which had been accumulated over about two years, were engraved. WOWOW will record, edit, and exclusively broadcast and distribute the final two days, which were the culmination of the tour.
Furthermore, the content of the programs from August onwards will be announced as soon as they are decided.
