Hiromi and Aiba head further down the 365 long stone steps that are the symbol of Ikaho Onsen. There is a garden dedicated to Fudoson, the “god of hot water” who protects Ikaho, but despite the sacred garden, the grass around the statue is in ruins.

Why does the garden where Fudo-sama, so-called “treasure of Ikaho”, is worshiped as the god who protects Ikaho Onsen from disasters, look like this? This was due to the circumstances that hot spring inns have faced in recent years, such as a sudden drop in customer numbers due to the effects of the new coronavirus, and then a sudden increase in customers due to inbound demand, resulting in a shortage of staff.

Hiromi Aiba stepped up and not only pulled out the overgrown weeds, but also planned to make the garden beautiful, saying, “Let’s clean it up and turn it into a new tourist destination in Ikaho.” Local young people and professional gardeners gather together to revitalize the garden, “for the sake of Ikaho.”

Aiba is a super idol who can sing and dance but can’t play a musical instrument, and Hiromi can only play the guitar. How can these two people become powerful?

However, when it comes to trying, these two are the ones who give it their all. A total of 57 members of the brass band were assembled from all over Gunma Prefecture, and Aiba joined the orchestra as the conductor and Hiromi as the cymbal player.

“The main characters are middle school students. I can’t fail,” Hiromi and Aiba practice hard during their busy schedules. Of course, the members of the brass band are also practicing hard for their first big stage performance.

The biggest highlight of the performance is the performance performed by only five members of the brass band, and some members were so nervous that they burst into tears.
