■“The! Iron arm! Shigeru Jojima and Joichiro Fujiwara will try to capture a “swimming rocket” with a maximum speed of 80 km/h at the “DASH Giant Diner” of “DASH!!”!
Nippon Television “The!” aired on November 3rd. Iron arm! DASH!!” delivers “DASH Giant Diner”. Shigeru Jojima (TOKIO), Joichiro Fujiwara (Naniwa Danshi), and Hideaki Kato (Associate Professor at Shizuoka University) have a big fight with a mysterious giant fish in Tosa Bay, Kochi. Furthermore, the giant fish they catch is eaten as the local specialty, Tosa-ni and deep-fried tataki.
“DASH Giant Restaurant” uses the experience and knowledge gained to catch giant fish, which are often avoided due to their large size and strong taste, and serve them deliciously.
The stage for this episode is Teyu Port in Konan City, Kochi Prefecture. Seeing the unusual stone-walled Horikomi Port for the first time, Jojima and his friends were filled with tension even before the battle, saying, “The atmosphere is completely different from the fishing ports we usually see.”
This time’s target is a gigantic fish nicknamed the “swimming rocket” with a maximum speed of 80km/h. Because it boasts top class speed for fish, it is also the most difficult to catch. Therefore, this time, we decided to split into two groups and capture it.
Jojima and Kato aim to catch fish using the angler’s romantic “trolling.” However, if you get hit, you can escape, and if you get hit again, you can escape… He tries to pull up the “swimming rocket,” which has excellent power and speed, with his own strength, but struggles, saying, “It’s strong! It’s big! What’s this!”
As expected, Jojima was on the verge of reaching his limit, saying, “I don’t have any grip strength anymore…” What will happen in the tug-of-war with the “swimming rocket” that goes beyond its limits!?
Fujiwara, on the other hand, tried “stick fishing,” where he poked a target with a giant harpoon. Fujiwara, who was in great shape that day, said with pride, “My name is going to change today. ‘Hitotsuki Joe.”’ Was it possible to kill the “swimming rocket” running away at breakneck speed with one blow?
Then, the “swimming rocket” that we captured was made into the local specialty, Tosa-ni and fried tataki. A giant fish that used to be bland and tasteless with little fat is now transformed into an artistic dish that is so delicious that adults will groan.
