■You can listen to digests of all tracks on the visualizer with the concept of space and wolves.
XG has released new visuals and visualizers for their 2nd mini album “AWE” (released on November 8th).
On the visualizer, you can listen to all tracks as a digest within a video with the concepts of space and wolves. At the same time, the latest visuals of XG have also been released.
This album, which is their first in about a year since their 1st mini-album “NEW DNA”, is about the “awe” that expresses the fear and curiosity felt when a new being appears. Through his works, he gives “awe” to many people and provides a special experience to be accompanied by XG’s music in everyday life.
The 2nd mini album “AWE” includes the pre-released songs “SOMETHING AIN’T RIGHT” and “IYKYK,” as well as the remix “WOKE UP REMIXX (FEAT. Jay Park, OZworld, AKLO, Paloalto, VERBAL, Awich,”) Contains 8 songs in total.
The second pre-release song “IYKYK” released on October 11th has a rhythmic 2-step rhythm added to the beat that samples m-flo’s “prism” released in 2001, and it sounds like it’s from space. It’s a song that makes you feel like you’re floating in the air, and the chorus, “IF YOU KNOW YOU KNOW,” which means “those who understand, will understand,” is an impressive song. It has been ranked on the Billboard Japan Hot 100 for three consecutive weeks, and the music video has dominated domestic and international charts, ranking in the YouTube trending rankings in 12 countries and regions including the United States, Japan, and the United Kingdom. In Japan, it was performed on TV Asahi’s “Music Station” and NHK’s “Venue 101,” and received a lot of attention.
Starting with the Manchester performance on November 18th, XG will continue their world tour in the UK and Europe, with stops in London, Berlin, Paris, Brussels, and Amsterdam.
