Mone Kamishiraishi releases new album “kibi”

■Includes songs provided by Ikimonogakari Yoshiki Mizuno and the song “hiker” written by himself!

Mone Kamishiraishi released her new album “kibi” on November 6th.

This work, which is his first original album in 2 years and 4 months, is composed of a concept that expresses the subtleties of various scenes and emotions that occur in the passage of time in a single day, and includes songs for which Kamishiraishi himself was involved in writing the lyrics. Many are recorded.

The jacket photo was created by NEWTONE, an art director who is active in many artists’ CDs, goods, advertisements, fashion, etc. The artwork features Kamishiraishi’s facial expression standing in the light, as if he were in a museum, standing in front of a variety of works.

The included song “Madashi” is a song provided by Yoshiki Mizuno of Ikimonogakari, who has long declared that he is a big fan of Kamishiraishi and has been deepening their relationship by appearing as a guest at his live shows. This is the second time they have teamed up since they provided the song “Yawake wo Kuchizusametara” which they sang when they first participated in the NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen. It was created based on the person’s request to create a song that echoes “Yakuchi wo Kuchizamutara.” In addition, Fuji TV’s news program “Live News It! Also included is the song “hiker,” written by himself, which was also used as the theme song for “Hiker”.

Kamishiraishi will be holding a nationwide tour named after the album “yattokosa” Tour 2024-25《kibi》” from December.Including the seven prefectures that he will be visiting for the first time: Aomori, Saga, Mie, Kyoto, Fukui, Kagawa, and Hiroshima. Approximately 28,000 people are expected to attend 11 performances in 10 locations, the largest ever.The first press release of this work will include a “serial number that can be applied for an invitation to watch rehearsals” and “an advance ticket purchase for the 2025 performance. A serial number that can be applied for is also included.
