“Rising Sun ~One Way Road, No Turning Back~” is a program that closely follows artists belonging to LDH. The second installment, starting November 17th, will focus on GENERATIONS.
An artist who stands on a shining stage, shows off his honed talent to the fullest, and captivates people. Behind their brilliant progress is their stoic determination to dedicate everything they have to their performance. In “Rising Sun ~One Way Road without Turning Back~,” which began airing in August, the camera closely follows the path (One Way Road) that these artists are currently taking as a group, aiming for a new dream and moving forward with unwavering determination. .
The first installment takes a close look at the 16-member dance and vocal group THE RAMPAGE, which is celebrating 10 years since its formation, and delivers the ups and downs of the 16-member group’s history, along with interviews and treasured footage from the past. The members openly talked about their hardships and feelings of gratitude, and it became a hot topic on social media, with comments such as “My heart hurts,” “I wonder how many times I cried after watching it,” and “I’m so glad I found THE RAMPAGE.”
The second installment from November 17th will feature GENERATIONS. They were born as the successors of the next generation of artists who have continued from EXILE and inherited LDH Entertainment, but in May of this year, member Sekiguchi Mandy suddenly announced his graduation. The new lineup of six members overcame the greatest adversity in the group’s history, and we will closely follow the journey of the group, who are bonded by a passionate bond, and embark on a new arena tour.
■November 17th broadcast content
“A new departure and return to origins for six people”
Dance and vocal group GENERATIONS. They debuted in 2012, held their first arena tour in 2016, and held their first dome tour in 2018, and have steadily climbed the stairs to glory. The 10th anniversary year in 2023 ended with great success, and they were about to make a new start in 2024, which could be called “Chapter 2.” Just then, one of the members, Mandy Sekiguchi, announced his graduation. How did the members feel when they learned that Mendy, who can be said to be the group’s mood maker, was graduating? Each speaks openly in front of the camera.
In addition, the members’ expressions of determination can be seen in the first TV commercial and calendar shoot by an internationally active photographer for the new 6-member GENERATIONS. Furthermore, during a dance lesson, there is a scene in which the six-person group talks about choreography, which symbolizes that GENERATIONS is standing on a new line.
Meanwhile, GENERATIONS announced their first arena tour with 6 members, 12 performances in 7 cities nationwide. The program follows that journey.

■GENERATIONS Alan Shirahama Comment
GENERATIONS will celebrate their 12th anniversary since their debut this November.
The group has experienced many ups and downs in its activities up until now, and in June of this year, the group faced a major turning point with the departure of its members.
With a new lineup of 6 members, in order to gain more momentum than ever before, we will explore new ways to evolve as a group, each of us will face changes as a group, and we have decided to hold a nationwide arena tour as a step towards the future. I did.
I hope you can feel the upbringing of each member and how they turn their struggles and conflicts into positives and push forward.
