Ikuta Rira to release Fuji TV's "Mezamashi Doyoubi" theme song "Humming" digitally! New visual unveiled

■Ikuta will be appearing live on “Ano’s All Night Nippon 0 (ZERO)” broadcast on May 28th at 27:00. The full version of “Humming” will also be aired for the first time.

It has been decided that Rira Ikuta’s new song “Humming”, which has been used as the theme song for Fuji TV’s “Mezamashi Doyoubi” since April, will be released digitally on June 1st. In conjunction with this, the jacket photo and new artist photo have also been released.

This song was written by Ikuta Rira as the new theme song for Mezamashi Doyoubi. With a “Saturday” theme, it’s a song that gently accompanies the different ways people start their mornings, some enjoying their day off while others are getting up and doing their work or schoolwork. Don’t forget to pay attention to the lyrics that talk about the importance of being kind to yourself, something we tend to forget in our daily lives.

The jacket that was released is designed with a motif of a photo of a cat stretching its body and yawning in the sunshine, which is also the inspiration for the lyrics of the song. The photo was taken by Ikuta herself, and the song title “Humming” was also handwritten by Ikuta herself and incorporated into the design, making it a jacket full of attention to detail.

The new artist photo was taken by Miss Bean, a video director/photographer who is based in Tokyo and Hong Kong and works on a wide range of projects including advertising photography, graphics, editorials, commercial films, music videos, and personal collections. The photo gives a sense of the new strength of Rira Ikuta, who is making progress in any genre.

In addition, Ikuta will appear live on Nippon Broadcasting System’s “Ano’s All Night Nippon 0 (ZERO),” which will be broadcast live from 1:00 a.m. on May 28th, and the full version of the song will be aired for the first time.
