■“I feel that something incredible is happening.” (ME:I・MOMONA)
The press conference to announce the singers participating in the “75th NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen” was held on November 19th.
There were 10 groups participating for the first time. The comments will be published below in the order of their appearance at the press conference.
■ILLIT・MOKA
The same year I debuted, I was able to perform on the big stage of Kohaku Uta Gassen, and I feel very honored along with the members. IROHA and I are from Japan, and this is a program we’ve dreamed of watching since we were little, so we’re really happy. We will show you a wonderful stage that will give you energy, so I hope you look forward to it.
■ME:I・MOMONA
I am participating in the Kohaku Uta Gassen in my first year since my debut, and I feel that this is not something that should be taken for granted, but something truly amazing is happening. Through our music, we would like to express our gratitude to our fans, the current environment, and everyone who has been involved with us in 2024.
■Omoinotake・Reo Fujii
We formed in 2012, and since the early days of our activities, our goal has always been to continue appearing in Kohaku Uta Gassen. I’m really happy that I was able to take a big step toward that big goal. I want to do my best.
■This Kento
Both myself and my team have been so grateful for the work we’ve done this year, so I wanted to put on a wonderful stage on this sunny stage so that it could be a reward for the team rather than a reward for myself. I hope I can play it. Thank you very much.
■Da-iCE・Daiki Kudo
I’m very nervous today, and I’m sure I’ll be very nervous on the actual day as well. Da-iCE is Da-iCE, and we would like to have fun performing in front of everyone and deliver our music to everyone.
■TOMORROW × TOGETHER・TAEHYUN
I am truly honored to be able to participate in the Kohaku Uta Gassen. I’ve always wanted to stand on Kohaku’s stage someday, so I’m really, really happy. We will do our best to deliver a wonderful stage performance suitable for New Year’s Eve, which concludes 2024.
■Number_i・Yuta Jinguji
We will debut on January 1st, 2024, and we will be able to deliver our performance to you on December 31st. I want to deliver the best performance to everyone. thank you.
■Nihama Leon
From the moment I entered the venue today, I was greeted with a lot of congratulations. It’s been 5 years since I debuted at Kohaku Uta Gassen, and it’s been 6 years since I debuted, and there’s not a day that goes by that I don’t say, “I want to participate.” It’s no exaggeration to say that participating in Kohaku is my goal in life. It’s a dream stage that I had set my sights on. Over the past five years, I have met the staff, the media, Noritake Kinashi, and George Tokoro, and thanks to the support of fans all over the country, I will be able to perform on the Kouhaku stage, so I will put my whole heart into it. Leon Niihama, do your best Leon!
■tuki. (VTR message)
Last year, after I asked my father to give me a promotion and released a song, my music and words began to reach many people. I’m very happy, but I’m also filled with a sense of wonder. To be honest, I still haven’t really realized that I’ll be able to perform on Kohaku Uta Gassen, which my family has been watching since I was little, and I’m looking forward to seeing what the experience will be like. I want to sing to the best of my ability so that it can be a wonderful end to the year for my family, friends, and listeners who always support me, and for those who first got to know me through Kohaku.■Creepy Nuts (comments)
