On the May 30th broadcast of “Downtown DX,” a rare video clip will be shown of GENERATIONS’ Nakatsuka Yuta and NEWS’ Masuda Takahisa drinking together.
The May 30th broadcast is titled “A gathering of celebrities who love alcohol,” and guests will talk about their drinking habits. Guests include Nakatsuka Yuta (GENERATIONS), Masuda Takahisa (NEWS), Akimoto Manatsu, Itoi Yoshio, Takeuchi Honoka, Hakata Hanamaru & Daikichi, Biscuit Brothers, and Hiro (MY FIRST STORY). They will introduce “My drinking rules,” “My home drinking that’s one level up,” and “This goes well with alcohol! The best ‘famous restaurant snack rankings.'”

Hakata Daikichi loves alcohol so much that he starts drinking at 10:30 in the morning after the live broadcast. Daikichi receives a leak from his drinking buddy, NON STYLE’s Ishida. Ishida says, “Daikichi is someone who checks other people’s work quite a bit. He praises me a lot when we’re drinking. But when Daikichi’s alcohol consumption exceeds a certain amount, he says, ‘When you think about it, aren’t I amazing?'” with a wry smile. Ishida further reveals, “There’s a word that makes me think it’s time to send Daikichi home. When Daikichi starts saying, ‘So shall we compete in the Ogiri?’, I think he’s getting pretty drunk.”

Hakata Daikichi says that after drinking, he wants to go to karaoke. The drinking rule for Takeuchi Honoka, the younger sister of Takeuchi Ryoma, is that when the family is together, they talk until the morning. When Hamada asks, “What does Ryoma look like when he gets drunk?”, Takeuchi bluntly replies, “My older brother is a passionate actor, so when he drinks he talks about acting, which is annoying.”
When MY FIRST STORY’s Hiro asked, “Do you ever drink with your family?”, Hamada immediately replied, “Yes! My oldest son can handle his alcohol.” When Biscuit Brothers’ Kin asked, “What do you talk about?”, Hamada replied, “I wonder what we’ll talk about… But the other day, when I was planning a festival, my oldest son got angry and said, ‘Are you kidding me?'” and shared an episode with his son with a smile.
■Biscuit Brothers Harada drinks too much, people worry!? A storm of screams in the studio
Kin, the partner of Biscuit Brothers, worries about the drinking habits of Yasumasa Harada. “Because of my job, I often stay in hotels, but I drink too much and try to dry out all the alcohol in the city in one night,” he said, revealing a photo of Harada surrounded by a large amount of alcohol. The extraordinary amount caused screams from the guests and the studio audience, and Hamada was also surprised, saying, “All this by himself…”. When Hamada asked, “Do you ever make mistakes?” Harada replied, “When I drink alcohol, I have no choice but to push my bike. But I thought it was too far to push my bike home, so I lay down in the sand at the park. I wanted a blanket on top of me. So I put my bike on my body and went to sleep.” The studio was filled with screams again.

In “My Home Drinking Taken to the Next Level,” NEWS’ Masuda Takahisa’s wine cellar is revealed. When Hamada asks, “Did you always want one? Like, let’s put up a wine cellar!” Masuda answers, “Yamashita Tatsuro gave me a bottle of wine from the year I was born for my birthday. I didn’t know how to preserve it, so I bought a really expensive cellar.” Furthermore, when Hamada sees Masuda’s particular glasses and decanters, he comments, “They’re expensive, these are expensive too.”

NEWS’ Masuda Takahisa and GENERATIONS’ Nakatsuka Yuta have never spoken to each other before. A rare video of the two drinking alone will be released. Seeing the two drinking alone, which begins with a conversation like “We’ve never really talked before, have we?”, Hamada expresses interest, saying, “I wonder what this kind of drinking is like.” The other guests are surprised by Nakatsuka, who downs a whole cup of sake in the first five minutes.
