The web commercial “YOLU’s Secret” for the night care beauty brand “YOLU” starring Naniwa Danshi Ryusei Onishi, as well as a making-of movie consisting of behind-the-scenes footage and interviews, have been released.

Onishi appears in pure white pajamas, wiping her wet hair with a towel after taking a bath. “The secret to shiny hair is…just use YOLU and sleep,” she gently tells me. In the scene where she sleeps in bed, in addition to her cute sleeping face, you can also see her daring sleeping position, such as turning over and over and folding her arms.

The next morning, Onishi woke up refreshed and got dressed. She quickly straightens her hair while looking in the mirror, and goes out with a beautiful, shiny look, saying, “Okay, that looks nice.”

During the filming, there were moments when the staff members burst out laughing at Onishi’s mischievous laughter after saying the wrong line, and the scene was filled with a peaceful atmosphere.

Q. How was your first shampoo commercial shoot?
Onishi:During the shoot, it was a happy atmosphere where time seemed to flow slowly. In the scene where she is sleeping at night, I expressed various sleeping positions, but it was mostly ad-libbed! The pajamas were so cute that I felt a little sleepy but was careful not to fall asleep.
Q. What is your favorite YOLU product?
Onishi:I use the neroli and peony scented shampoo and treatment from the Calm Night Repair series. I will take it to the tour destination of Naniwa Danshi’s concert. It’s really helpful because I can remove the dirt from my sweaty hair and scalp from concerts. I really like the scent and it feels really good, so I’m excited to use it.
When I want to add a little shine to my hair, I use a gel hair mask. The first time I used YOLU was when I was on tour, and (Kazuya) Ohashi suddenly complimented me and said, “Ryusei, your hair looks great today,” which made me really happy. I was asked, “Have you changed your shampoo?”, but I decided not to mention it (about YOLU) yet, so I lied and said, “I haven’t changed anything.” Actually, I was using YOLU, so I’d like to share the story with Ohashi-kun later.
