JO1 announces in live broadcast that they have reached No. 1 on the Oricon daily charts for the eighth consecutive release! “JAM is sending us lots of support and love”

On May 29th, JO1 held a live broadcast to commemorate the release of their 8th single “HITCHHIKER.”

The first part of the event was a live simultaneous broadcast on YouTube, LINE VOOM, Instagram, and TikTok, where they gave a thorough introduction to “HITCHHIKER.” In addition, they announced that the single has topped the Oricon Daily Single Rankings for the eighth time in a row since their debut single.

This work recorded sales of 416,000 copies, the highest ever, on the Oricon Daily Single Ranking dated May 28. Upon seeing the results, the members were overjoyed and applauded, saying, “We’ve had eight consecutive No. 1 releases, thank you so much, everyone!”
