■King & Prince will be performing “Cinderella Girl” for the first time on TV as a duo!
King & Prince performed their debut song “Cinderella Girl” as a duo for the first time on television. After the performance, Matsushita told Ren Nagase and Kaito Takahashi (the “taka” is officially spelled with a はしごだか) “It’s wonderful to start the song with two people,” to which Nagase replied, “Since we had the chance, we decided to start the song with the two of us, Cinderella Girl.”
Takahashi also spoke of her feelings after reflecting on their activities as a duo, saying, “It’s powerful when we sing together. When we were just the two of us, it felt like the world shrunk, but when we were in front of our fans, I felt like we weren’t just the two of us! We were all there!”
Then, King & Prince introduced a song filled with their greatness, with commentary from world-famous dancer TAKAHIRO. In response to a question from Udo, “Tell us something about the other person that only you know, that no one else knows,” both of them shyly confessed something about each other that only they know about.
Furthermore, the enthusiastic researcher Udo passionately talks about wanting the members of King & Prince to see the charms she discovered. With the hashtag “If we were born in the Showa era,” the app uses AI to transform Nagase and Takahashi into Showa-era faces, and their reactions are also a highlight.
The second dance number they performed was their latest song, “moooove!!”. Pay attention to the choreography in the chorus, the “Why? Dance” where they dance with their hands in a W shape.
■Ayumu Imazu and BABYMONSTER also appear!
Despite being a new artist, Ayumu Imazu has already surpassed 400 million streaming plays, and is gaining popularity overseas, reaching number one in Korea and number two in Thailand on Billboard JAPAN’s “Japan Songs (country chart).” He will perform the popular song “Obsessed.” He will also talk with King & Prince, for whom he provided the song.
BABYMONSTER, who debuted as BLACKPINK’s sister group and whose music video for “SHEESH” from their debut mini album “BABYMONS7ER” released on April 1st has exceeded 200 million views in the shortest time in the history of K-POP girl group debut songs, will be singing for the first time on Nippon Television. They will be performing their much-talked-about debut song “SHEESH”.
Leo Ieiri will be performing a special live performance of her debut song “Sabrina,” which was used as the ending theme for the popular anime “Toriko” and became a huge hit, as well as her latest song “Waltz,” which has the theme of straightforward love.
Crystal Kay will perform “Koi ni Ochitara,” a representative love song of the Heisei era, which was released in 2005 as the theme song for the Fuji TV drama “Koi ni Ochitara: Boku no Seikou no Himitsu” and debuted at number 2 on the Oricon Weekly Chart.
