BABYMONSTER has achieved a half-million seller with their official debut album “BABYMONS7ER.”

According to Hanteo Chart on May 24, BABYMONSTER’s first mini album “BABYMONS7ER” has recorded cumulative sales of 524,925 copies since its release on April 1.

“BABYMONS7ER” sold a total of 401,287 copies, setting a new record for the first debut album of a K-POP girl group. Since then, it has been steadily rising until now, seven weeks later, and has finally become a half-million seller.

Demand in major music markets such as Japan and China exceeded expectations, so additional units were produced several times, according to YG, the label that represents BABYMONSTER.

This explosive increase in album sales, which is considered an indicator of core fandom, demonstrates that the fandom is expanding beyond Korea to the entire globe.

BABYMONSTER is expected to further increase its global popularity as it has been actively promoting itself in Japan recently by appearing on major music shows, and plans to increase contact with music fans at events such as SUMMER SONIC 2024, which is expected to further increase final sales.

BABYMONSTER is currently holding their first fan meeting tour “(BABYMONSTER PRESENTS: SEE YOU THERE)”. In addition, at midnight on May 31st, they will be releasing the performance video of “LIKE THAT”, which was a personal gift from Charlie Puth to BABYMONSTER.
