■“ROMANCE: UNTOLD -daydream-” recorded weekly sales of 185,000 copies!
ENHYPEN’s 2nd studio repackage album “ROMANCE: UNTOLD -daydream-” has weekly sales of 185,000 copies according to the latest rankings announced by Oricon on November 25th (dated December 2nd/collection period November 18th to 24th). It became the number one weekly album.
As a result, ENHYPEN has had a total of nine albums reach number 1 on the Oricon Weekly Album Rankings, starting with their 2nd mini-album “BORDER: CARNIVAL” and ending with “ROMANCE: UNTOLD -daydream-”.
“ROMANCE: UNTOLD -daydream-” sold over 1.4 million copies in its first week of release (counting period from November 11th to 17th), setting a new record for the highest initial sales volume of K-POP repackages (according to Hunt Chart) . In addition, their 2nd studio album “ROMANCE: UNTOLD” also re-entered the US Billboard main album chart “Billboard 200” (dated November 30th) at 7th place.
Meanwhile, according to the list of finalists announced by the BBMAs on November 25th (local time), ENHYPEN has been nominated for “Top Global K-POP Artist” and “Top K-POP Touring Artist.”
The BBMAs are such a prestigious music award that they are considered one of the four major popular music award ceremonies in the United States, along with the Grammy Awards, American Music Awards, and MTV VMAs. Winners will be selected based on data based on album and music sales, radio broadcasts, streaming, touring and social engagement over the past 12 months, including Billboard chart performance.
Furthermore, ENHYPEN is currently holding their third world tour in Japan, and the fastest 3-city dome tour since their debut among K-pop boy groups called “ENHYPEN WORLD TOUR ‘WALK THE LINE’ IN JAPAN.”
