Ae! group documentary “BORDERLESS” 2nd first synopsis released! Narration is Kinpuri Ren Nagase

Aee! group’s second solo documentary, “BORDERLESS Aee! Group Behind the Scenes of the Debut Tour,” will be streamed on Netflix from 9pm on November 28th. The synopsis for episode 1 has now been released.

King & Prince’s Ren Nagase will be in charge of the narration for the second installment of “BORDERLESS,” which will show the growth, conflicts, and behind-the-scenes aspects of the Ae! group as they embark on their first tour after their debut. are.

■Episode 1 “Looking for the Only One”
The 5-member Ae! group was formed in 2019 and made its long-awaited CD debut in May 2024. She is a “borderless” idol whose appeal transcends the boundaries of genres such as singing, dancing, being in a band, and laughing. In fact, preparations for their “Ae! group Debut Tour ~Sekai de No. 1 AeLIVE~”, which attracted approximately 370,000 people in 8 cities across the country, had already begun “before” their debut announcement.

■A new conflict that I didn’t have in my junior days: “It’s really difficult.”

In February 2024, the members participated in a tour pamphlet shoot and merchandise meeting. There is a friendly atmosphere on set, but as March passes, the Ae! group becomes busier. In an interview with producer Tadayoshi Okura, Richard Keita Kusama candidly reveals his feelings.

April. Ae! group was worried about the content of the corner they would show on tour. Unlike the performances we performed as juniors, we have to think about a composition that focuses on our own songs. “It’s really difficult…” (Yoshiki Masakado) The discussion continued until late at night, and we had another meeting four days later. While there were still a lot of topics to discuss, the members came up with ideas one after another regarding a certain theme, and Richard was surprised at one point, asking, “Why are so many people coming out?!” Furthermore, on this night, a proposal for “Ae! group’s new challenge” will pop up from the main gate.

We will also be covering the joint live event “WE ARE! Let’s get the party STARTO!!” in which Ae! group participated. It also depicts the interactions between the five members and Genta Matsuda (Travis Japan) and Naniwa Danshi, which took place behind the scenes during their “last stage as juniors.”

■Blank 20 minute block… Ken Kojima “I want the concept to be meaningful!”

With just over a month left until the start of the tour, there were major changes to the set list that had been decided upon. In an attempt to quickly rebuild the blank 20-minute block, Ken Kojima proactively offered his opinion, saying, “I want it to be a meaningful concept! For example…” Meanwhile, Akiya Sano was forced to compose songs to perform on the tour and couldn’t hide his impatience, saying, “I seriously don’t have time. My limit is tomorrow.” But…

At that time, Seiya Suezawa, who was in charge of costumes for the tour, asked, “Do you have the budget?” and was at the mercy of the “expensive armor costume” that Sano wanted to wear during the performance…!?

“Ae! Group isn’t the classic sparkly type, so they can do anything they want to do.That’s actually difficult,” says Suezawa. As the five of them go through trial and error in preparation for their once-in-a-lifetime debut tour, one day they receive “happy news.”
