■KJRGL releases 1st EP “prelude~the brilliant blue”!

Japanese-Korean boy group KJRGL released their 1st EP “prelude~the brilliant blue” on November 27th.

A variety of EPs that follow the story of include an acoustic version of the pre-debut song, a Japanese version of the debut song, a remix by young Korean female remixer Lionclad, and the members’ skits and short poems. It is packed with challenging songs that are not typical of idols, such as readings.

The pre-released song “Beautiful Dream”, which has become a hot topic in particular, was written by member KOUKI for the first time, and it incorporates the delicate emotions leading up to their debut and their feelings of gratitude to the fans who supported them. The song has also touched the hearts of the KJRGL members, who have gone through an uneven path.

The recently released “Beautiful Dream” MV was filmed on the Chiba coast in early October. Filming began with a scene surrounding a bonfire in pitch-black darkness. Even though I was shivering in the cold under a starry sky that I don’t usually get to see, my heart was warm and the scene was etched in my memory. It is said that the moment when dawn dawned and the sun sparkled was beautiful, as if celebrating the departure of KJRGL.

Up-and-coming filmmaker Aki Setotaka, who directed this video, said, “I heard that they went through a lot of setbacks and regrets before their debut. Personally, I didn’t have the opportunity to direct for about four years, and I have a lot of regrets. I have been thinking. There was a lot of overlap between me and them, and when I first met the 6 members, I felt like we naturally got to know each other.It was a pretty intense shoot, but I think the 6 members were able to relax and enjoy the shoot. I think so,” he commented.

With less than a month left until “KJRGL DEBUT LIVE ” to be held at Spotify O-WEST on December 23rd, the members are looking forward to meeting VOISEA (KJRGL’s fan name). Preparations are underway.
