“Easy life” by Shoya Kizen has been released as the 6th installment of the member self-project “PLANJ” (pronounced: plant), which is being developed on the JO1 official YouTube channel.

“Easy life” is an original song written and composed by Kizen. The arrangement of the song was handled by Kizen himself, music producer PARKGOLF, and Emison from the band Friends. The MV is a work that expresses Kimi’s own “easy life”, such as a free and carefree person who sometimes spends time relaxing, and a person creating music.

“PLANJ” is valuable content where you can see what the JO1 members themselves want to express. With the goal of improving individual skills and giving back to the group, JO1 freely expresses and disseminates the individuality of the group and its members, not just music.

The first part is Sho Yonashiro’s cover of Elton John’s “Your Song,” the second part is Junki Kono’s cover of CNBLUE’s “Love Light,” and the third part is Shio Tsurubusa’s back number. The fourth cover of “Nishito Koen” is Ruki Shiraiwa’s self-produced song “Himawari,” and the fifth is Yoshio Ohira’s original song “Melak.”

This song “easy life” is a song that I would like to introduce to myself and other people like me, because I tend to live too seriously in my daily life. I created it with the meaning of living your life doing what you want to do. The song itself is fun and easy-going, so I’d be happy if you could listen to it as a way to calm down while preparing something in the morning!
For the music video, I asked the director to shoot something like this and had him do different things, but I was really surprised at how much better it turned out than I had imagined. I was able to create work with professionals like this, and it was very stimulating!
In addition, we had Big Star Wasabi (Kizen’s pet cat) join us this time, and the recording went very smoothly and he meowed when I sang, so he immediately joined us. When the OK take came out, she looked somewhat proud.
