SEVENTEEN's "Expiration Date" ranked 1st on Oricon & Billboard weekly singles

■Oricon records the highest first week sales for overseas artists in 2024!

SEVENTEEN’s 4th Japanese single “Expiry Date” (released on November 27th) debuted at number 1 on the latest Oricon weekly single ranking (dated December 9th) released on December 3rd.

This is his fourth consecutive number one single, and his fourth in total, since “Fallin’ Flower,” which was his first single to rank at number one on April 13, 2020.

The record for the number of consecutive No. 1 singles by an overseas artist is tied for the first in history, along with TVXQ and BTS. First week sales were 418,000 copies, setting the record for the highest first week sales for an overseas artist in 2024. (FY2024 starts on December 25, 2023)
