Gen Hoshino has added a new audio commentary (secondary audio) to the music video of an existing song and released it on YouTube.
This video utilizes the multilingual audio feature newly added to YouTube, and includes Hoshino and the video for a total of 9 music videos, including his latest song “Traces of Light,” “Fushigi,” “Comedy,” and “Family Song.” A commentary by director Seita Yamagishi has been added and can be heard as secondary audio.
In addition, full versions of the music videos for 5 works, “SUN,” “Koi,” “Tokiyo,” “Family Song,” and “Doraemon,” have been released. In response to the release of the new version, a newly shot trailer video titled “First Edition DVD Trailers”, which is an archive of the commentary included in the middle of each music video, has also been released.
Gen Hoshino has announced the release of his album next spring and his first national tour in six years. Starting with NTV’s “BEST ARTIST” broadcast on November 30th, she appeared on Fuji TV’s “FNS Kayousai First Night” on December 4th, and on December 31st, she appeared on “The First Night of FNS Kayosai” for 10 consecutive years. It has been decided that they will be participating in the 75th NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen.
