Southern releases the second release project of remastered versions of their past albums! 5 works from “Keirei” to “Jane Inamura”

Southern All Stars is scheduled to release their new album “THANK YOU SO MUCH” in March 2025.

In order to let you enjoy their original album history again in the Reiwa era, we will release remastered versions of all 15 of their original albums updated with the latest mastering technology for distribution only. “THANK YOU SO MUCH” project is underway.

The new album, which was originally scheduled to be released this winter, was postponed to next spring in order to pursue even greater perfection, but this special project is a thank you to all the music fans who have been waiting for this for a long time. Over the course of three weeks, 15 works will be available for download and streaming only, ranging from the debut album “Hot Chest Sawagi” released in 1978 to “Grapes” released in 2015.

When the first five works, “Hot Chest Wagi”, “10 Numbers Karatto”, “Tiny Bubbles”, “Stereo Taiyozoku”, and “NUDE MAN” were distributed on November 27th, social media was filled with joy and surprise. Many voices were received. This remastered sound source, which has been updated with the latest mastering technology in 2024 and is as faithful as possible to the original master when released, will bring new discoveries to old fans and fresh impressions to those who are newly introduced to Southern music. is giving.

The second distribution will start on December 4th. “Keiru” (1983), “Let’s Go Popular” (1984), “KAMAKURA” (1985), “SOUTHERN ALL STARS” (1990), “Jane Inamura (SOUTHERN ALL STARS and ALL STARS)” ( 1990) 5 works were released for distribution. Each album has big hit songs, but in this Reiwa era, before the new album is released, let’s take a closer look at each work, including the flow of the songs, as an original album.

In addition, in response to this remaster distribution, a special site has been set up on the “THANK YOU SO MUCH” special website released in preparation for the release of the new album and the national tour, which summarizes the songs and explanations of all 15 albums. In addition to the page being made public, the participatory web media “Southern Times” is also open.

A total of 30 people are in charge of writing, ranging from veteran music critics who have been following Southern All Stars for a long time to up-and-coming young writers. “What if it was a new band debuting in 2019?” The “Moshimo Review” has been released one after another and has been well received.
