Koshi Inaba (B’z), who celebrated his 35th debut anniversary in 2023, will appear on a music program for the first time in seven years. He will perform “Hane”, the opening theme for the popular TV anime “Detective Conan”, on TV for the first time in eight years. In addition, he will perform his latest song “NOW”, which is included in his sixth solo album in 10 years, for the first time on TV.

At the opening of the show, MC Udo Yumiko called out Inaba to the audience. Artist navigator Matsushita Kohei expressed his excitement, saying, “Amazing! I’ve been watching you since I was born, and I’ve been listening to B’z since I was a student, so I can’t believe that Inaba is right in front of me.” Inaba responded with a gentlemanly “Thank you.”

The latest song “STARS” set a new record in the history of Japanese music as the first consecutive No. 1 single. His CD sales to date are the best in Japan, at 83 million copies. Inaba is not only active in B’z, but also as a solo artist. People on the street ask him a lot of questions about his solo activities and private life. In the studio, Inaba reveals his thoughts on his solo activities and private life.

In addition, TERU of GLAY, who admires Inaba, made a surprise video appearance. Both bands performed “Ultra Soul” and “Kanojo no “Modern…”” at a collaborative live performance between B’z and GLAY in 2021. TERU looks back on an episode that moved him when they stood on stage together, along with precious footage from that time. What is Koshi Inaba that TERU talks about? A request that TERU longs for to Inaba is also revealed.

Inaba has written lyrics for over 400 songs. This time, he released the handwritten notes he wrote when he wrote the lyrics for “Ultra Soul.” Matsushita commented, “Look at this! It’s Ultra Soul!”, and Udo also expressed her excitement, saying, “Wow.”

What is the surprising story behind the title of “Ultra Soul” that was written in the notebook? He also talks about what inspired him to start writing lyrics.

The second song, “NOW,” which will be sung on this day’s broadcast, will be performed on television for the first time. Surprisingly, the source of the lyrics for Inaba is his own complex. In response to Udo’s question, “Is it a complex?”, Inaba makes a surprising confession.

SixTONES, who are celebrating their 10th anniversary this year, will be making an appearance. They will be performing two songs for the first time on TV: “GONG,” an insert song for the Sunday drama “ACMA:GAME,” and their latest song, “Come Back Here.”

Jesse and Tanaka Juri appeared in the talk corner, and TERU, who is friends with Jesse, delivered a video message asking, “Can you please stop asking us ‘Shall we go out for drinks now?’ at 2am?”

Udo was also surprised, saying, “Amazing! You’re a strong guy! Do you make calls like that?” Matsushita’s question, “How did you meet TERU in the first place?” revealed Jesse’s unexpected friendship.

Tanaka also talks about an unforgettable event when looking back on the past 10 years. What happened to Hokuto Matsumura at the year-end countdown live before his debut that he says he wants to pass on to future generations? Furthermore, Jesse talks about the artists who influenced him in the past 10 years.

In front of Kumamoto Castle, which sustained extensive damage in the 2016 Kumamoto earthquake and where restoration work is still ongoing, WANIMA will perform two songs, “Tomoni” (Together), praying for recovery, and “Rindo,” which was written specifically for their hometown of Kumamoto.

We then went to Kumamoto Castle, which is currently undergoing restoration work. What did we see there?

AI, who is a Goodpla supporter, will be singing “Wareba”, the theme song for this year’s Nippon Television Good For the Planet program. They will deliver a luxurious special live performance with the famous song “Happiness”.

This will be the first time timelesz will perform on television with their new lineup. They will perform two songs, their latest song “Anthem,” written and produced by Yamashita Tomohisa, and their classic song “RUN.”

Omoinotake performed two songs: “Ikuoku Kounen,” a hit song written specifically for the theme song of the drama “Eye Love You” that has been streamed a total of 100 million times, and “Tsubomi,” the ending theme of the seventh season of the popular TV anime “My Hero Academia.”

Last month, Number_i took a step towards expanding into the global market by appearing at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival 2024, one of the world’s largest music festivals, where they performed their debut song “GOAT,” which was trending number one worldwide, and their latest song “BON.”

Ayaka will passionately sing her latest song “Zutto Kimi to,” which will be released on May 29th and is filled with her feelings for her beloved dog.
