JO1 collaborates with JRA (Japan Racing Association)! Special project “JOin us AR1MA” to enjoy Arima Kinen will be held

Ahead of the “69th Arima Kinen (GI)” to be held on December 22nd, JO1 has released a special project “JOin us AR1MA” in collaboration with JRA (Japan Racing Association) on a special website.

In the special project “JOin us AR1MA”, a special video of JO1 and JRA’s collaboration video “JOin us!!” will be released. The members of JO1 are having a great time touring various parts of Nakayama Racecourse to the tune of a new song with the message, “Forget your boring daily life and have fun together!” Also worth noting is the scene in which all 11 riders run through the race course at the same time.

From December 7th to December 28th, it will also be broadcast on monitors at racetracks and winds nationwide, as well as on Turf Vision.

Additionally, a TV commercial for a 15-second version of the special movie will begin airing in the Kanto region from December 5th. In addition to the special movie, short movies “JO1’s Invitation Call” and “Look for JO1!” were also released, in which JO1 members teach recommended spots around Nakayama Racecourse. Let’s invite JO1 to find his favorite spot at the racetrack.

Furthermore, in conjunction with this project, a real event in collaboration with JO1 will also be held. At a special booth in Tokyo, you can enjoy the “JOin us horse dream race” where you can experience a simulated horse race with the horse character “JOin us horse” created by JO1 members, as well as photo spots.

Nakayama Racecourse also offers various events such as raffles. Let’s enjoy the 2024 Arima Kinen together with JO1.

■Special movie “JOin us!!”
The new song “JOin us!!”, produced in collaboration with JRA and JO1, has the message “Forget your boring daily life and have fun together!”, with JO1 encouraging and giving you the strength to work hard every day. It’s a song that will make you happy.

The special movie is set at Nakayama Racecourse, where the Arima Kinen race is held, and JO1 members tour various spots within the racecourse to take pictures. In the movie, the members actually interact with ponies, and all 11 members run through the racecourse course at the same time, which shows the close relationships among the members, and the result is full of excitement.

Q. How did you feel after filming?
JUNKI:We were allowed to enter the race course, which we had been told not to enter, and it was extremely exhilarating, and we all ran around and took pictures while sweating. It was really fun. I ran faster than a horse (lol)
Q. Is there anything you would like to do with JAM (fan name) in the future?
JUNKI:Would you like to bet? Now on to the races. For our race!

TAKUMI:I feel like it was a lot of new experiences for JO1. It was a year filled with many things that I learned and absorbed that will be useful for JO1 in the future, including things that will lead to next year.
SHO:I’ve been to quite a lot of places. We’ve had a lot of live shows.
SYOYA:I also went to Europe and Hawaii. All that’s left is the long-awaited Okinawa!
SHO:I’ve been participating in music festivals, and the year hasn’t ended yet… but it’s been a whirlwind.
JUNKI:I have accumulated a lot of miles.
Q.This year’s Arima Kinen is December 22nd. Christmas is almost here, how will you spend it this year?
RUKI:Well…I’m thinking of having a party.
