“IMP. Presents 7 Pieces to Create Peace” will start in December as part of the 80th anniversary of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima Home Television.
What does peace mean to you? People have different ideas about things like “a world without war,” “family happiness,” and “spending time with friends.” IMP. members visit Hiroshima, the site of the atomic bombing, and search for peace for each of the seven people through interviews.
The title, “7 Pieces to Create Peace,” reflects the idea that the members of IMP. will think about peace through their experiences, collect the answers of each of the seven people as pieces, and deepen their thoughts.
The keyword is “photo”. One by one, IMP. members will travel around Hiroshima with a camera in hand, capturing “moments when they feel peace” as photographs (peace signs). What kind of scenery and people in Hiroshima make the members feel peace? Members of the generation who have no knowledge of war or the atomic bomb, and are responsible for the inheritance, express peace with their own sensibilities.
At the same time, viewers in the prefecture are also soliciting photos of “moments in which they feel peace.” We will introduce this on a daily basis and share with the people of the prefecture what peace will look like 80 years from now.
“IMP. Presents “7 Pieces to Create Peace”” will be broadcast on Hiroshima Home Television “Pita New”. The first broadcast will be on December 10th, and from January 2025 onwards, location footage of each member will be broadcast as a monthly news feature.
