Season 2 will be distributed on FOD for the first time in four years in January 2024, and season 3 will be distributed soon after.
The main cast includes Lily Franky, Takumi Saito, Sari Ito, and Tomoko Yamaguchi, who appeared as a special guest in season 2, will also appear in season 3. In addition, special guests such as Goro Inagaki, MEGUMI, and Keiichi Suzuki will appear among guests visiting the pension, and a never-before-seen “love story” will be drawn.
The story depicts the commotion caused by “unusual guests” who visit “Love is Pink”, a somewhat old pension run by Shiro (Lily Franky), an always-scrupulous father, his daughter Haru (Sari Ito), and Yoshio (Takumi Saito), a young part-time worker. A heartwarming comedy filled with laughter and tears.
From season 1 to season 2, the story was about Shirou falling in love with a guest who visits the pension, but in season 3, the story is about autumn clothes, autumn rain, and a premonition of tree fall. This time, the main incident will be Haru’s, not Shirou’s, and subtle changes will occur in her life.
Haru has been in contact with Keita (Goro Inagaki), whom he met through the character’s fan account, but suddenly Keita shows up at the pension. Haru and Keita have the same favorite characters, favorite desserts, and even the same pattern on their socks, and Haru feels that they are destined to be together. Yoshio looks at Haru as he flies up, and seems to be a bit uneasy about it.
