■TAKAHIRO×OMI brings out “unseen faces” in each other on their first show!
It has been decided that the self-produced variety show “TAKAHIRO & OMI’s Otagai Produce” by EXILE TAKAHIRO and Sandaime J SOUL BROTHERS OMI (the official notation is “O” for stroke) will be broadcast on TV Asahi.
The first show by the two, who are as close as brothers, will appear on Christmas night. In the program, TAKAHIRO and OMI will produce each other and bring out faces that have never been shown to the world.
TAKAHIRO will show off OMI’s cute true face in “Variety Location”, and OMI will bring out TAKAHIRO’s high vocal skills and unknown sex appeal in “Music Live”.
■TAKAHIRO pulls a series of pranks on OMI! A duet of Showa songs between the two has also been realized!
TAKAHIRO went on a “hospitality tour” to OMI. When I went to OMI’s hometown with Nasu Nakanishi, OMI’s classmates appeared there. But among them, there are people I don’t know at all… What will OMI’s reaction be…?
Furthermore, there are a lot of little surprises hidden throughout the day, such as the taste of the restaurant you used to go to being completely different. TAKAHIRO said, “Recently, I haven’t seen OMI’s expressions that are casual or show any emotion…”, TAKAHIRO said about the real intention behind this prank project. Will we be able to see the unknown side of OMI?
On the other hand, OMI’s production realized the stage that OMI longed for, saying, “I want to show the fans something that only I know.” There will be a one-night-only special performance that will make everyone think, “I wanted to see TAKAHIRO like this!” and a Showa pop song duet between TAKAHIRO and OMI.

I usually spend a lot of time with OMI, and in the past I used to see all kinds of expressions, such as surprised faces and uncontrollable laughter, but recently I’ve noticed OMI’s more casual expressions and emotions. I thought you didn’t see my expression… For the first time in a while, I felt like I wanted to see the inside of OMI.

Although TAKAHIRO is EXILE’s vocalist, he has many different sides, such as being a rock artist like GLAY’s HISASHI, and of course having been a solo artist for many years. What I wanted to bring out from TAKAHIRO this time is a Showa popular song sung by TAKAHIRO!
I once sang one of Kiyoshi Maekawa’s songs in private, and I thought it was very nice and left a lasting impression on me. But since I don’t have the chance to show it to you through my own activities, I would like to show the fans something that only I know!
