■The live video work “HIKARU UTADA SCIENCE FICTION TOUR 2024” includes footage from Hikaru Utada’s K Arena Yokohama performance from her first tour in 6 years in 2024!

Hikaru Utada will release her live video work “HIKARU UTADA SCIENCE FICTION TOUR 2024” on December 11th.

This work includes footage from the K Arena Yokohama performance in Kanagawa, which was Utada’s final domestic performance venue from his tour “HIKARU UTADA SCIENCE FICTION TOUR 2024,” which he held in 2024 for the first time in six years.

The tour started with the Fukuoka performance on July 13th, and continued for about two months, with stops in seven locations in Japan, as well as the Taipei performance (attracting 20,000 people), which was the first solo performance in Asia, and the Hong Kong performance (attracting 20,000 people). A total of 18 performances were held in 9 locations with a total of 24,000 people. The total number of domestic and international tours was 258,000 people, making it one of the largest tours ever, and the content was perfect for the 25th anniversary of their debut.

To commemorate the release of the live video work, a digest of the documentary footage included in the work and “traveling” have been released on YouTube. Please check it out.
