Kyohei Takahashi (Naniwa Danshi) has been appointed as the image character of the cosmetics brand “ISLAND”. A new commercial starring Takahashi was released on December 11th.

ISLAND is a cosmetics brand born from the desire to pass on Crystal Gemmy’s “Elephant Foot Cream” to future generations. A commercial featuring the colorful world of Kyohei Takahashi, flower art, and lighting was created out of the desire to bring a little bit of color into everyday life.

■Kyohei Takahashi comment(From a making interview)
It was my first commercial as a solo artist, so I was very nervous, but I was happy to be solo and had a lot of fun filming it. I aimed for a wonderful piece of work with the chemical reaction between ISLAND’s creativity and myself. I was surprised that even someone like me could shine so brightly through the world of flower art. I think we have created a good piece of work.
I have naturally dry skin, so I used this product before bed, and it smelled nice, and it felt like it wasn’t my own skin. There are some great members in the “beauty” category, so I thought that there was no “moisturizing” character, so I thought that from now on, I would be a “moisturizing” character (lol)
