“Mrs. GREEN APPLE18 Festival”, a project in which Mrs. GREEN APPLE creates a stage with 18-year-olds who are at a crossroads in their lives, will be broadcast on NHK General TV from 10pm on December 25th.

This project was born from the desire to create a passionate experience with everyone in the 18-year-old generation that will remain in their memories for the rest of their lives, and this time, 1,000 18-year-olds from all over Japan will create a stage together with Mrs. In order to respond to the theme of “honest feelings” from the couple, a large number of videos of performances and texts were collected, as well as messages from the couple expressing their desire to participate in this project, and the couple wrote a new song based on the videos. It was also revealed that the title of the theme song is “Darling”.

A moving stage created by 1,000 people seriously creating a work with an artist and wife whom they truly admire. It was a wonderful time when each of them put their “true feelings” into their singing voices and sang together, and the five months of longing for each other between Mrs. and 1,000 people collided and overlapped.

The program not only covers the recording process on the day of the event, but also takes a close look at the 18-year-olds who had various thoughts before heading there, and conveys the inner feelings they face and have.

The time I spent singing with 1,000 18-year-olds was so full of love that I felt like I was singing shoulder to shoulder with everyone. I don’t think it’s normal for people to project so much of their feelings into a single song, and it felt like everyone was pulling us in, or rather, it was as if we were being inspired as we sang.
I think that feelings of pain and loneliness, and conversely, feelings of joy and joy, are often felt only when the other person is present. It also means that you are never alone. That’s why I thought it would be such a wonderful thing to convey our love to those around us by singing “Darling,” which means “beloved,” with everyone who has various feelings.
Looking at this stage, I think 18-year-olds look cool to people under 18. It’s really cool to see someone working so hard on something. I think people over the age of 18, including us, will feel encouraged by their performance. I want as many people as possible to see everyone’s best efforts.
